1. GENERAL

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all competitions operated by DeadlyComps Ltd (“DeadlyComps”, “we”, “us”, “our”) via the DeadlyComps website (“Website”).

1.2 By accessing the Website and entering any competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not enter.

1.3 All competitions operated by DeadlyComps are skill-based prize competitions and are not lotteries.

2.1 The promoter is DeadlyComps Ltd, registered in England & Wales.
Registered office and contact details will be displayed on the Website.

3. ELIGIBILITY

3.1 Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

3.2 Employees, directors, contractors of DeadlyComps and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

3.3 By entering, you confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements and that all information you provide is accurate.

4. COMPETITION FORMAT

4.1 Each competition:
Has a limited number of entries
Requires entrants to answer a qualifying skill-based question
Offers one winner only, unless otherwise stated

4.2 The skill question requires knowledge, judgement, or reasoning and must be answered correctly for an entry to be valid.

4.3 Answering the question correctly does not guarantee winning.

5. HOW TO ENTER – PAID ENTRY

5.1 To enter online, entrants must:
Create an account on the Website
Select the relevant competition
Correctly answer the qualifying question
Complete payment and checkout

5.2 Entries are only valid once payment has been successfully processed and the question answered correctly.

5.3 The maximum number of entries per person will be stated on the competition page.

5.4 Creating multiple accounts or entering on behalf of others is prohibited and may result in disqualification without refund.

6. FREE POSTAL ENTRY

6.1 Each competition offers a free entry route by post.

6.2 To enter for free, send an unenclosed handwritten postcard via Royal Mail containing:
Full name
Date of birth
Registered email address
Registered postal address
Competition name
Correct answer to the qualifying question
Confirmation of acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

6.3 All postal entries must be received before the competition closing time.

6.4 Free entries are treated exactly the same as paid entries and do not increase or decrease the chances of winning.

6.5 Incomplete, late, bulk, photocopied, or automated entries will not be accepted.

7. WINNER SELECTION

7.1 All valid entries with the correct answer will be entered into a draw.

7.2 The winner will be selected at random from all correct and eligible entries using a verified random selection method.

7.3 Draws may be conducted live or recorded and published on DeadlyComps’ platforms.

7.4 DeadlyComps’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. PRIZES

8.1 Each competition prize will be clearly described on the competition page.

8.2 The prize will be either:
The advertised item, or
A cash alternative of equal or stated value, at DeadlyComps’ discretion

8.3 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged by the winner, except where a cash alternative is offered.

8.4 Any costs associated with prize collection (unless stated otherwise) are the responsibility of the winner.

9. WINNER NOTIFICATION & CLAIMING

9.1 Winners will be notified using the contact details provided during entry.

9.2 Winners must respond within 14 days of notification. Failure to respond may result in forfeiture of the prize.

9.3 DeadlyComps reserves the right to request proof of identity, age, and address before releasing any prize.

10. COMPETITION CLOSURE

10.1 Competitions will close when:
All entries are sold, or
The stated closing date/time is reached

10.2 DeadlyComps reserves the right to:
Extend a competition
Close a competition early
Substitute a cash alternative

11. DATA PROTECTION & PUBLICITY

11.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK data protection laws and DeadlyComps’ Privacy Policy.

11.2 By accepting a prize, winners agree to reasonable use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes, unless prohibited by law.

12. LIABILITY

12.1 DeadlyComps accepts no responsibility for:
Lost, delayed, or incomplete entries
Technical failures beyond our control
Any damage or loss arising from participation, except where caused by our negligence

12.2 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. MISUSE & DISQUALIFICATION

13.1 DeadlyComps reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:
Breaches these Terms
Attempts to manipulate the competition
Provides false information

14. LEGAL

14.1 These competitions are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Stripe, Meta, Google, Apple, or any social platform.

14.2 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
